Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is used to prevent or treat low levels of vitamin C in people who do not get enough of the vitamin from their diets. Most people who eat a normal diet do not need extra ascorbic acid. Low levels of vitamin C can result in a condition called scurvy. Scurvy may cause symptoms such as rash, muscle weakness, joint pain, tiredness, or tooth loss.

Directions/Application

Buffer with Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda). 2 parts Vit C : 1 part baking soda.

Recommended Dosage

Take 1/2 Vit C with 1/4 baking soda in a glass of water, in the morning and the evening, one hour after your meal.

Low dosages are safe and beneficial for children.

In acute cases, take hourly until you experience a flushing/diarrhoea. Thereafter, take a lower dosage as directed by your professional health care advisor.
